This was a cool transitional story. David gets shot, the secret hideout destroyed, the Batwing armor destroyed, suspended from the police…

But–and this is the part I liked a lot — he gets NEW armor to go along with his “new” attitude…and I quote:

The time has come for me to return to my roots….The time has come for people to die.

I think Batwing is about to get real dark (say, maybe Jonah Hex kind of dark?).
