Penguin has been such a little bitch for a while.  It’s good to see him step his game up now that Black Mask II and Doctor Hurt aren’t running the show anymore.  It seems like he’s ready to take a stab at the big time again!!

I don’t know a single thing about David Finch other than the fact that he draws and writes here.  He’s doing a good job so far though.  This is one of my favorite Batman books right now, and that is NOT just because it’s one of the very few starring the BW Batman with the yellow oval bat signal on his chest.

I am excited to see more tales of Batman in Gotham City by David Finch, but I have to admit, he’s not the Gotham City Rookie Of The Year.  I’m rather enjoying Scott Snyder’s Dick Grayson stories in Detective Comics somewhat more right now, but that has something to do with the fact that those are actually coming out on time.

I wouldn’t wanna talk shit though.  I know I sure as hell couldn’t write AND DRAW a Batman book on time every single month, I can’t draw at all!!

  1. you’re a big DC fan and you’ve never heard of David Finch? You see his covers all the time on things like Brightest Day among other things…

  2. I usually remembers books for the writers more than the art department but you are probably right.  THANX

  3. This comment will no doubt be deleted but here goes anyway.

Batman inner monologue:  “Is it the bra or are they really that…”

  4. so… did your read the book or are you just talking about the cover?
cause you’re not really saying anything of substance.

Comic book guy voice: “Worst fan review.. ever”

  5. It’s not that easy to write a review without giving spoilers out, Dick…
