I loved this issue. The art by Stewart and Burnham was absolutely fantastic as expected. The Morrison stories were fun, crazy, and brilliant as can also be expected. I was really happy reading this because it took me back to what might be my favorite time in Batman’s history. (Snyder’s great, taking nothing away from him) As great as this was it made me bummed out, I miss Stephanie Brown, I miss Red Robin and Dick Batman, I miss Batman Inc., I miss the design and the feel of this world. So that bummed me out sufficiently. However, after giving it some thought, (I believe) this was going to be Morrison’s finale to his time on Batman anyway, and DC is letting him finish his epic on what I assume are his terms. While I’ll miss what used to be, when the New 52 hulllaballoo is over and done with in a few years. We’ll be able to look back and appreciate the library of Morrison Batman books and I believe this will be remembered as one of the Dark Knight’s finest moments.

Story: 5 - Excellent
