If you pick up this issue, hoping for a well-told, challenging Batman story; say, something Morrisony or even Diniesque, you’re going to be disappointed.  However, if you microwave yourself a big old bag of popcorn and want some harmless, unprovoking Batfun, you’ll enjoy this.

    Akamuu, right on.  Waid’s story was so cookie cutter and dull.  Definitely a three.  This is a good "read while taking a dump" book at best.  I didn’t get any insights into Barcelona as a city or the Spanish people or anything.  Art was nice…although I actually didn’t like the Jim Lee cover, too stiff.
