I think that this is probably one of the better, if not the best, arcs this title has had. That's not to say it's not without its flaws. One of my comic pet peeves is covers with word bubbles on them, but that goes double for covers that ruin the ending of a story. Also, I know it's swimming in quicksand to argue about realism in comics, but I don't buy the ending on several levels. One, that the court would allow peanuts in the room, as I'd assume people would be aware of the Judge's allergy. Two, can you have a peanut allergy so severe that you essentially start hemorrhaging after ingestion? I'm actually not sure about that, but it seemed excessive. Third... the Judge doesn't have an EpiPen? Just the same, I'm charmed by this tale of dealing with the Joker from a position of inexperience. The possibilities are limitless here, and the book has done a fairly good job delivering. Fun story and decent art, with especially emotive faces. I can easily read both sadism and charm in Joker's face as he rapidly cycles between panels.
