I know the iFanboys are generally down on Philip Tan, but I liked his work here doing some nice double-page splashes showing the history of the Outsiders. I thought the Outsiders had one of the more intriguing setups after Bruce’s “death,” so it was disappointing to see it go nowhere, but it was good to see that storyline brought full circle here. Still, the non-flashback part of this book felt rushed, and the art in those portions was about what you’d expect from Tan.
