It’s not often that I put down a comic after reading it and just stare at the cover thinking “What the hell was that????”  I’ve enjoyed B&R from the first issue and I’m a fan of Jason Todd as Red Hood, but this was easily the worst issue of this series by far.

The story was barely tolerable and the characters were very poorly written.  Judd Winnick has impressed me with his work on Power Girl and JL: Generation Lost but this doesn’t even sound like him.  Damian and Dick’s voices were way off….I mean, Winnick just did a great job of writing Grayson in Power Girl, so what happened here?

Visually, this issue is sad.  Everyone’s model changes continuously, the inking looks as though a 9 year old did it and the color is ridiculously poor.  I tend to feel bad writing a poor review of a book because I know hard work and sweat goes into making comics, but this absolutely one of the worst issues that I’ve experienced in a while.
