I'll admit at the end of last issue I was looking forward to the next one. It came out the same day as Scott Synder's Detective comic's debut and they left with me with the impression that Dick Grayson's skills as a detective were being brought to the forefront. After this issue I might not even read the next one. The new villain The Absence comes off as a cheap Riddler and I can't get around the fact that she's walking around with a perfectly circular gunshot wound through her skull, which was not only apparently empty but miraculously immune to infection on her completely exposed thin layer of grey matter. Though through my bitching I loved the last page. It was absolutely ridiculous. I could not help but laugh at laugh at the giant scissors and bloody sack labeled "Girlfriend's Body Part's" It made me think of what Morrison originally claimed Batman and Robin would be. A more twisted version of the 1960's Tv series.
