I hate David Hine.  His Batman stuff is probably the only Bat stuff I will never read in issue form, digital, or in trade, even if it was free!  I would much rather read a Batman story by Tony Daniel, which I thought I was getting into originally.  Shit, I would rather read Batman stuff from Kevin Smith!!!

I hate Guillem March.  He’s mostly the reason I stopped reading Sirens after the first arc wrapped.  His art just sucks.  I hate the style.  If I had known that I was going to be looking at this slop instead of the much nicer looking stuff Daniel is known for, it would be another reason why my wallet would include another three dollars right now.

I hate Azrael.  Both of them.  Jean Paul sucked.  This new Michael Lane guy was cool as hell when he was one of the three ghosts of Batman, but once Morrison lost grip of where the character would go and what the dude would do, he went down the tubes.  We didn’t need another Azrael series then, we definitely don’t need one now.  And I definitely don’t need my Batman stories interrupted with the crap that’s going on in the series, or the crappy Red Robin series either for that matter.

Batman should be about Batman.  Dick Grayson or Bruce Wayne.  Not Michael Lane or whoever that other loser was who was causing all that trouble in Devils Square.  Tim Drake can stay in Red Robin (another title I dropped before I finished reading the second arc and got sick of looking at that bald female whoever she was) too.  I don’t mind seeing Catwoman, but hopefully next time I see her in my regularly scheduled Batman title, she’ll be penciled, inked, and colored by somebody who actually has some talent.  I can’t stand scribble scrabble.
