Brilliant celebration of all things Bat – past, present and future. Loved the glimpse into a future Damian Wayne Batman – w/ a costume that pays homage to both of his formative mentors of the cowl, Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson. Morrison’s “locked room” mystery was compelling (if a bit difficult to follow in a couple spots). Beautiful artwork from everyone involved, and the whole thing culminates in a rousing fist-in-the-air moment of well-deserved self-indulgent celebration. If you can’t pat yourself on the back at a milestone like 700, when can you?
