Seriously, how much better can Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo get?! I agree with everyone who has called Batman the best book of the New 52, and I can only hope that this creative team is going to stick around forever.
This is another perfect issue, and the more we see of the mysterious Court of Owls, the more intriguing and downright scary they become. The scenes of Bruce exploring the hidden nests are just incredibly detailed and gorgeous, as we are coming to expect from Capullo. He is really staking his claim as the best artist in monthly comics right now, and for me at least, Snyder is already the best writer.
Honestly, I can’t say anything about how great this comic is that hasn’t been said before. Everyone involved in it’s production should be incredibly proud. They are creating a run that will be remembered as one of the finest in the Dark Knight’s glorious history.
Now DC just need to give me the Absolute edition and the Capullo-designed action figures I’ve been craving since my review of issue one, and the job’s a good ‘un!
