Entertaining for sure. Capullo’s art is second to none. Still the story felt a bit light. Snyder is a little too heavy handed sometimes (eg. the Victorian flowers bit).

The first few pages had some nice shots of Bruce/Clayface shooting Gordon with a shotgun and !!! running over him with a motorcycle. Awesome.

The back up was the better story overall. Supes and Bats just rapping, you know.

Definitely not my POTW (see Hawkeye), but a nice step into a new arc.

Art 5/5 — Great to see Maleev on interiors again.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. That’s a great cover and almost looks 3-D. I’m amazed at what artist can do these days. Sounds like an interesting story too. I’d like to read more about some of those lessor known Batman villains.
