Ahhh, I just wanted to be the first one to make that joke.
I didn't get my wish that the new Batgirl would turn out to be Jason Todd. But I did get another quality Batman Reborn book. AND more Barbara Gordon, and the fall out from some Birds Of Prey stories.
Overall, neither the art nor the story blew me out of the water, but it sets up the possibility of awesomeness down the road, and was an entertaining read.

Stephanie Brown? Seriously? I’m about to put it back on the shelf. I’m reading enough stuff already.
Bah. I told myself that Stephanie was an acceptable alternative to Cassandra, that I like her, that I wouldn’t mind her being Batgirl – and I shouldn’t, really. But it’s still grating. -_-
I felt the same way this was an average book, not bad enough to turn me away but I don’t think I’ll be in this for the long haul. I’ll still buy a few issues to see where it goes.
