Wasn’t going to pick this up until I saw that Stuart Immonen did the art for the Namor/Thing fight sequence and I will buy anything that guy draws even Fear Itself…ugh. Amazing underwater fight with snarky banter. Loved it.

The Kubert art in the first fight between Iron Man and Magnetp was not very good but I enjoyed what Aaron brought to it. Although I would’ve gladly paid $1.99 for just Namor/Thing story.

I give AVX VS#1 (terrible title btw) a 3 out of 5 for overall story. A 5 out of 5 for the Immonen art and 2 out of 5 for Kubert.

Again BIG DUMB FUN. Will definitely pick up the next issue only based on the creative teams.

Just saw the cover for the next issue. Can someone explain to me why Gambit is fighting Cap?!? Looks like I’m not picking up next issue.
