Great start to what hopefully turns out to be a great event, and if this issue is any indication of what’s to come then is going to be a fun summer.

I’m sure there will be a million reviews of this so I’ll be quick in my reasons for enjoying this. it pretty much came down to the moments and dialogue that were featured in this from the moment where wolverine was faced with the hard decision of going against the X-men and siding with the Avengers, to the moment where the Avengers show up surprisingly to defend Captain America and take hope into their custody. Moments and fine dialogue like serious conversations between characters, conflicts and funny moments, along with great art and a few fights in between are what makes an event great, interesting and fun to talk about with other comic fans.

I for one hope that with some of my favorite writers behind the helm on this one understand that and know what it will take to turn in a good event this time around and have learnt from their mistakes. Only time will tell though and I for one am going to stay positive and just enjoy being a comic fan in the meantime.

  1. Great review, the thing about Wolvertine that’s kinda confusing me is that my local comic shop gave me a poster with Wolverine on the x-men side but in the preview book a month ago he was supposed to be on the Avengers..maybe the poster has a mistake or maybe it’s foreshadowing.

    • If anything I assume he will even go as far as to switch sides during this by maybe sticking with the avengers at that start due to him and cyclops not seeing eye to eye to him ending up helping the x-men and making up with him towards the end of the event. Would be somewhat predictable but opwould be the right thing to do
