Trite. Mediocre. Bland. So, so many ways to describe this series, and
so few of them feel adequate. This book has gone from tolerable to I’m
only picking this up because I’ve spent $30 dollars on it already and
I’ll be damned if i don’t see how it ends. I know they’re trying to
have these hot damn, that was cool moments, but no one under the age of
50 does that for the Howling commandos. The deaths of the British
heroes would have meant more if there was any chance that this series
isn’t going to negate everything that happened and the grunt learns a
valuable lesson. That’s the big problem, there is absolutely no
dramatic tension. None. Unless we are currently living in a Nazi run
state, Marvel will probably not make the status quo that. The art is so
bland. It is painful. Just painfule. 2/10
