I wish there were a "4.5," because the pacing, character interaction, and art on this book are all near perfect.  What I love the most is the insight into the relationship between Billy (Wiccan) and Teddy (Teddy -- I can't bring myself to call him Hulkling).  Two teenagers in love, facing danger, and willing to risk everything for one another, combined with intimate moments of caring.  What is best -- and maybe this is old hat with a gay character in Archie -- is the sheer normalcy of it.  In a mainstream Marvel title, with the flagship Avengers name, we have a great romantic storyline at the center, in which the characters happen to be gay.  No one even needs to say "not that there's anything wrong with that."  It's just as normal as Mom and apple pie.

A few nits.  On story, Wolverine is a bit more bloodthirsty than he should be.  Heinberg's not the only one to ratchet up the bloodlust on Logan to serve the story, but really: "let's kill Wiccan while we're at it?!"  Too much, especially for a guy who has a history of protecting and caring for  a) teens and b) uber-powerful mutants.

As to art, on the cover, Cheung and Ponsor structure and shade the collage so that the eye falls right above the Scarlet Witch's right (and only) breast, where Wiccan's head is growing out where her right breast would be.  The imaging is poor, and it makes Wanda look as though she's posing for a commercial on proper breast exam technique.  It's all quite odd.  Hence we fall short of perfect 5s.

Still, a well done issue.
