All Quiet not only the title but an accurate description of this issue. Build ups can be a slow burn but I think Hickman forgot to light the pilot light on the stove. A big gathering of Herod, some odd choices that were predictable made this issue a 3 page transition into 22.

I enjoy Hickman’s storytelling on Avengers and his Fantastic Four books as well as East of West, however I think he was ahead of himself with this title and had to slow down to allow the other Infinity books to catch up. The Avengers title was in the doctor’s office waiting to transition into the big Event of late summer. Hopefully next issue, Thanos and Infinity will see this title in examination room along with the other Avenger books.
