Avengers #14 brought me a taste of something i haven't had in an avengers comic in a while. Humanity. It explored what the characters were really like inside and what is was like to be an avenger. It also gave a great action sequence with the now possessed thing and the red hulk. The main tool of the story was exploiting what the avengers thought during a time of crisis and showed that they are simply human. In this issue the one character who is the most interesting is Jarvis whose fears are exploited the most as he succumbs to the violence and the fall of the avengers tower. This issue is a must read tale of suspense with fantastic art and a deliberately different take on our characters. 5/5
