I’ll admit, I just picked this book up because it was part of an Invincible crossover.  Love Invincible, and I often love the series he interacts with.  Without Invincible, I wouldn’t have found Noble Causes.  And, ok, it also crossed over with Savage Dragon, which solidified that I’m just not that comic’s target audience.  I was also leery because, as much as I love Invincible, Walking Dead, Marvel Zombies, and Kirkman’s run on the Ultimate X-Men, I haven’t been a super fan of the Invincible Universe prequels or spin-offs (Capes, and Brit aren’t bad series, I just wasn’t hooked by them).

This is not a crossover that requires you to know anything about Wolfman, or Invincible.  But it was good enough to convince me to go and put my hands on as many Astounding Wolfman back issues as I can find.

  1. You liked Kirkman’s run on Ult. Xmen?  I’m a huge defender of Ult. Xmen and the Ult line in general but that was poop

  2. Wolfman is good but I doubt you’ll like it since you didn’t get Brit.
