It all comes together.
I was cautious about the new Astonishing. The few issues that have come out have seemed kind of irrelevant and slow, even though I love Warren Ellis. But this issue... it made it all worth it. Parallel worlds, crazy inter-species sex, a satisfying amount of Emma Frost, and Scott says "****". It was more than worth the wait. The art is terrible in some places and beautiful in others, which balances out to a general appreciation for it in my mind. If you're on the fence about which x-books to be buying, make sure that you buy Astonishing starting with this issue.Story: 5 - Excellent
