This issue is a great jumping on point if you have not been reading it already. Fred Van Lente has been killing it on the story side of this title and he brings back one of my all time favorite Valiant characters in the Eternal Warrior, otherwise known as Gilad Anni-Padda. There is a great fight sequence made spectacular by the artwork of Emmanuela Lupacchino. Let me just say "Smoke 'em if you got 'em!" We also find out that Gilad was resurrected after being dead with the flashback we saw part of in issue #1. The Boon that was activated by the third brother, Ivar, brought Gilad back from death and made both he and Armstrong immortal. We have yet to see what it really did to Ivar. This title has been at the top of my reading list since issue #1 and is one of the few books that I buy both digitally and in print form, because I want to have access to it at any time and I do not carry physicial copies around with me all of the time. They tend to frown on me reading comic books at work, but I can get away with it on my phone. Pick this book up and if you like, the trade with the first 4 issues will be out sometime in 2013
