And that’s how you do it. This series was so full of action, adventure, and Nazi vampires that I’m already going back for a second read. I’m not a regular reader of the AV series, so I didn’t have any connections to that world. I decided to pick this up because it was a mini and I’d heard good things about AV and had enjoyed reading Snyder in Detective. I haven’t been disappointed once. This final issue really delivered an emotional punch that was elegantly bittersweet, and Sean Murphy’s art was flawlessly captivating.
