Man, it’s been forever since I’ve actually read a Spidergirl story.
This one was okay. It’s kind of weird seeing where and how they’re
taking the character, what with clones of children and children of
clones and symbiotes and what have you. It really is emphasizing the
family part of this title. I liked it okay and the art was good. As for
the actual spidey story in this, it was fun. I liked how he was able to
deduce and upstage his friend and apologized for it. The stuff with
Spider Ham was about as lame as it always is. And I like the new female
love interest who is also a criminal. She’s a good alternative to Black
Cat. A fun issue with the substance of Merangue. 6/10
