Chapter 2 of “Big Time” was the #1 book I wanted this week. The question was, “will it be as good as chapter 1”?
Answer is …..yes.
Compressed storytelling, excellent mix of impending danger and cracking wise. Great villains, sinister plots afoot and some funny tossed in. This is a Spidey I get. It feels right.
ramos on art give us a quirky style that reflects people like Ditko and McFarlane’s approach. His characters can look anime goofy or just spine tingling scary.
People who read comics these days will always be divided but IMO this is a great book and well worth the price of admission.
