Mark Waid is a brilliant writer. First of all he knows how to make Spider-man funny. From jokes about Jersey Shore to calling Adrian Tomes a Larry David look a like, you know Waid loves all things Spider-man. Then you have the terror that the new Vulture brings to Peter's longest enemy/ally in J. Jonah Jameson. The art continues the recent trend of less details and more focus. I would call this the anti-McFarland style. And I love it just for the flow. Lets hope we see more Waid.
