I like the idea of Spider-man as a prankster - covering mayor Jameson's phone in sticky spider goo and taking pictures through the window outside as he explodes into a tirade about the endless evil daily torments of that dastardly Spider-man. Every week Amazing Spiderman is fantastic, this week is no different. I think we are really beginning to see the recent manipulations of Spider-man's rogues gallery beginning to come to head; The Chameleon and Electro working together to break The Vulture out of prison. The Vulture using his freedom to track down and destroy whoever it was that was responsible for creating him. His quest beginning with one of the last organized crime families in the city and ending at Gracie Mansion in the office of J Jonah Jameson. And it's up to Spider-man to save Jameson before the Vulture vomits acid all over him. There's a cliffhanger for you. Every week this book is rock solid, so much so that it gets challenging to find new and interesting compliments to give. That being said, this isn't to bad a jumping on point, so if you're not reading this you should check it out.
