I’m not a big Spider-Man fan, but being the deranged new comic book reader I am, I wanted a thrice-monthly title. While the last two issues made me ponder dropping this book, #592 has sucked me right back in. I will be following this book indefinitely.

Mark Waid’s Peter Parker is, as has been mentioned many times, pitch-perfect. His interactions with JJJ were great. His reaction at the last page was excellent. It’s hard to explain, but it just felt right to me. Considering my history with Waid is essentially this issue and Irredeemable, I’m pretty sure that he can do no wrong. He may be evil, but sometimes evil is good.
