...and this Character Assassination story just keeps on going and going and going, going and going and going...
A few things of importance actually did happen though. We finally get to find out what the deal is with these spider tracer killings. Turns out that they are not killings at all, just some dumb cop spraying bootleg tracers on dead bodies all over town. Why bother trying to find out what really happened to these folks, or who killed them, or why? We can just blame Spiderman for everything. Seems like these fictional NYPD cops in Amazing Spiderman are just as crooked as the assholes that wear the blue suits down here in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Definitely a possibility. So we finally hear that is what the tracers are all about, we just don't get every character's true motivation yet. They better start leading into something soon.
And it looks like Spiderman is going to be in good hand's during his little stint in jail. His lawyer is none other then the blind and mighty Matt Murdock who incidentally gets the judge to rule in the favor of Spiderman not being unmasked until he is convicted, and he just happens to seek in Spidey's web slinger so he can bust his ass out of there, after he helps out Vin a little (the crooked cop who got himself jammed up with the Spider tracers even though it doesn't say why).
Still no big conclusions here. I not losing interest though. I just don't feel like waiting another week to see what's going to happen!!
