I wasn't a huge fan of the last issue, mainly because Bachalo's pencils made Peter Parker look like he'd been beaten about with the ugly stick, but I loved this issue. It has excellent pacing with the action zipping along nicely without ever leaving you confused. The art is very good and Bachalo does a great Spidey. The colouring is subdued, with mainly muted tones apart from the vidid red of Spidey and everything look great. The writing by Kelly wraps things up neatly in this second and final part of the story arc and there's plenty of Spidey humour. Two of my favourite panels are when Spidey realises that his webbing won't contain Hammerhead and he just says: "Poop", and also the panel where Spidey's behind Hammerhead and wonders if he should tell him but there's a devil Spidey on his shoulder and a mini angel Spidey who says: "*@%# that". Ok, so it's not big or clever, but it made me LOL when I was reading this on the train coming home from work this evening and what more can you ask from your comic books?
