Creepy….the murderous clown is very Gacy-esque (that’s not a good thing).

In this issue, we see Palmiotti & Gray attempting to weave one too many plot threads together. The issue would’ve been better served with ONLY the Hyde Formula plot.

That being said, it’s an action-filled issue…but again, I worry that the writing team is straying a bit too far from what works best with Hex — streamlined stories, almost approaching single issue stories.

I’ll give them some rope, but I cringe a bit.

The backup story was simultaneously not groundbreaking, and/but executed with INTENSITY.
