This happens to be one of my favorite books right now.  I like how edgy and nearly maniacal Batman is potrayed.  I feel sorry for Robin, I feel he is verbally abused, and sad that he has no where else to go.  And then Batman grows and learns that he is not being a great role model and their relationship is touching and you feel a sense that their bond is beyond that of just leader and side kick.  Don’t expect the typical Batman, he is funny, at times abusive and yet he becomes tender as he grows.  A really good look at Batman and Robin’s relationship.
