I haven’t made it through all of my pulls for this week, but if any of them are better than All-New X-Men #4, I fear my head might explode from awesome-overload.

This issue had it all: Incredible art, a riveting story, and characterizations & dialogue that were pitch-perfect. There were moments in this issue that had me laughing out loud, and one scene in particular that almost brought a tear to my eye.

The only complaint I have about this issue is that it ended. Bottom line: This is the best the X-Men have been in a long, long time. As far as I’m concerned, there have been 3 great X-Men runs: Claremont’s historic run, Whedon and Cassiday’s run on Astonishing, and now, Bendis’ introduction of the All-New X-Men.

Thank you, Marvel.
