I don’t know how I feel about this.

It was okay in that it got a new
interesting character introduced into a status quo for the Marvel U. It
also gave us more A.R.M.O.R. exposure.

The fights were good, and I
especially liked Daken is consistently getting his ass kicked, but all
the stuff with the alternate future stuff is getting old.

It was bad
enough when X-Men was using it to mine stories, but now that it’s
spreading it’s just getting obnoxious.

I also don’t like how they’re
spreading the Hulk family so thin. Between this, Rulk, Skaar, A-Bomb,
and the up coming She Rulk We’ve doubled the size of people with
similar origins and powers in about 3 years or less.

 Superman is
handling it well, but they’re also returning to continuity instead of
establishing new stuff.

This just seems to water down the main
character more than anything.

Still, setting this was handled fine, and
I’m willing to give it a chance as Van Lente has been doing some great
stuff for Marvel lately, but I just hope they don’t go to the well too
often.
