This event is difficult to judge. It's very good story wise, but something is holding it back. Maybe it's the pacing or maybe...no it's definitely the pacing. If this wasn't coming out every week or two I'd be worried about getting bored with this, but that's not the case. I'm glad there was no build up to Ultron taking over earth and we're just thrown into things. Now if only things didn't immediately slow down after issue 1. The remaining heroes trying to regroup and figure out a plan to get back on the offensive is all well and good but what's taken up issue 2 and 3 could've all been put in 1 issue. I'm more interested in what Moon Knight's group is up to though we don't get much into that also his group becomes less of a group rather quickly. Speaking of which, does Red Hulk (aka Dave) die in his fight with several Ultron bots? Another question are we gonna see Ultron before the midway point? Anyway the art is a mixed bag for me. The landscapes, drawn by Bryan Hitch, look better than some characters. I think the best way to sum this up is like those episodes of The Walking Dead where the characters just talk about their problems instead of killing zombies or other people. It's good just not up to my expectations based off of previous episodes.
