I couldn't even get halfway through the classic Superboy story in the front of this one!! Boring!! No wonder Tales From the Crypt and other EC stuff was the big fish back then!! Well the damn thing only costed me a dollar.
I'm not too sure what the hell was going on with that little short story at the end. First it looked like Lex Luthor was going to make a break for it with Braniac under his control. Then all of a sudden Braniac is the one who is really in control and neither of them are going anywhere. Lame. How much longer are they gonna sit around and have tea parties with General Lane? Then out of nowhere comes either a younger Superman or an older Superboy. I'm not sure which. I thought I heard that the Superboy from way back in the Reign of the Supermen days was dead, and the narrarator, whoever she is, said something about "we control the dead" so I started to figure. The history of the DC Universe can be very complicated if you haven't been reading every damn book to come out in the last 15 years...
Oh well, looks like I'll have to wait until Adventure Comics #1 (definitely not volume one!) comes out in June. It doesn't look like I'm going to lose any sleep about what is actually going on until that happens though.

@robbydzwonar, The back up story in this book was written by Geoff Johns and has a lot to do with the Green Lantern books. Do you read the Green Lantern books? I thought this back up story was tremendous!
