Can a guy with a healing factor overdose? If that drug cancels out his healing factor I guess so. We don’t learn this from this issue, but it’s just a thought. This story is about Daken attempting to pull of the biggest heist in history. But first he has to go through the move stealing Taskmaster. I found myself rooting for Taskmaster to kick Daken’s butt in this issue but later down the lineĀ I was hoping he would pull some tricky plan out of his ass as the heroes of Marvel do. I found that throughout the entire Daken series you don’t know whether everything’s going to plan in Daken’s head. First he’ll think something like, “This complicates things.” so you think he may get busted, but then he think, “Just as I predicted” and you’ll say but how? Since Daken’s under the influence of Heat throughout most of the story here I guess he wouldn’t be thinking straight. This is a really good story and I’m interested to see where it goes.

  1. Daken I think is an extremely calculating sociopath, which means there’s a lot that’s probably off the hinges in his mind, but at the same time he’s effective at getting what he wants.  Makes for an interesting character analyzation.

Interesting how the Heat seems to make his healing-factor erratic.  Why couldn’t he pop his claws against Taskmaster?
