Since this is the last issue before the DC reboot I expected them to throw out a story that would leave readers satisfied until next month. That this issue was, but the art was really sloppy. The artwork was made to look like the painting with the melting clocks and though the cover is awesome, underneath it is very less of the cover. Now I’m a new DC reader and Dick and Damian had some backup in this issue by a guy whose name I can’t remember, but he was dressed as a ninja with a bat logo on his shirt. This issue focuses not on action or drama but more of mental stability of every single person in this story. Batman and Robin and the ninja Batman fight five insane asylum escapees, four of which have really creepy abilities. One chick can turn people into glass and in the beginning she turnsĀ a guys heart into glass and also part of his chest in the shape of a hand for everyone to see his heart. The main bad guy isn’t much of a threat at all but more like a low level French Joker, but in the end we see his face and it made me think, “This is what the Joker would look like if his father put a perminent and wide smile on his face? Confused? Think The Dark Knight’s Joker’s smile without lips. This story would be really good I’m sure if it went more in detail with a story arc and not just a one shot. Overal I give this a 2.5 out of 5.

Story: 3 - Good
