Talksplode #96 – Tom Scioli

Show Notes

Thanks to iFanboy Patrons, it’s Talksplode time.

Jack Kirby has been an integral part of Tom Scioli’s career all along. After winning a Xeric Grant for his original comic, The Myth of 8-Opus, he became more widely known for his collaboration with Joe Casey, Gødland, which was an unapologetic love letter to cosmic Kirby style. He then spent some time writing and drawing Transformers vs. G.I. Joe for IDW, and most recently Scioli gained critical acclaim with his comic book biography, Jack Kirby: The Epic Life of the King of Comics. (You can hear our podcast on it here.) Josh talked to Tom about his career and the King himself.
