Talksplode #95 – Ibrahim Moustafa

Show Notes

Thanks to iFanboy Patrons, it’s Talksplode time.

Ibrahim Moustafa has made a very cool career in comics over the last decade. As a kid very into breakdancing in the Pacific Northwest, he decided to make a go at being a comics artist. Since that time, he has drawn for Marvel and DC, been nominated for an Eisner for High Crimes, created several of his own stories, written and drawn James Bond comics, culminating in the recent release of the graphic novel, Count, from Humanoids. The first of a three book deal from Humanoids, it’s a sci-fi reimagining of the classic The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas. It’s a fantastic success story in comics, and there’s even some iFanboy history in there as well.

Follow Ibrahim on Twitter. and Instagram, as well as his website.
