Talksplode #93 – Christopher Cantwell

Show Notes

Thanks to iFanboy Patrons, it’s Talksplode time.

A lot of times when people come from TV to writing comics books, it’s a brief infatuation and a quick exit. As the co-creator of Halt and Catch Fire, Christopher Cantwell ran one of the best drama series on cable in the last decade, and then he decided to try his hand at writing comics, starting with Karen Berger at Dark Horse, on She Could Fly, and Everything. Then Cantwell moved over to Marvel on Doctor Doom and Iron Man. He’s a long time comic fan, and it shows in the world. Josh talks to Cantwell about comics and his career, including both comics and TV.

  1. I googled his name and got really concerned, but that’s a different Christopher Cantwell. He’s probably tired of that confusion.

  2. That was a really great interview. Loved everything about it. Am I the only one who would kill for a Chris Cantwell book on writing?
