Talksplode #91 – Steve Lieber

Show Notes

Thanks to iFanboy Patrons, it’s Talksplode time.

We have been fans of Steve Lieber for a long time, and in that time, he’s only gotten better. We talk about his life in comics from falling in love with the art form, to the Kubert school, Whiteout, Superior Foes of Spider-Man, and all the way up though the most recent, and brilliant Superman’s Pal: Jimmy Olsen, with collaborator, Matt Fraction. He’s a man who puts storytelling first, and apparently didn’t even know he could draw funny until he was. And yes, he’s working on art while we talk, and you hear it, and that’s just fine.

Also, he talked about Bernie Krigstein’s story, Master Race, which you can check out here.
