  1. Like a bonus Ink Panthers Episode! huzzah!

  2. Interesting and enjoyable conversation.  I’ve only heard Mike talk on Ink Panthers, where he only rarely will discuss his work, so hearing him discuss his process was interesting.  This only solidifies my plans to buy FREDDIE AND ME for my British-born sister-in-law who now lives in Minnesota.  Well done.

But did anyone else have a problem with the audio cutting out for a few seconds every few minutes or was that just me and my iPod?

  3. There might be a problem with the file, and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can. But it’s mostly OK for listening, I think.

  4. @Josh – Oh, it was indeed mostly okay to listen to.  I listened to the entire thing while doing some chores.  Just thought I’d bring it to your attention.

  5. It’s funny listening to Mike in this interview. He has a very different "energy" on the Ink Panthers show.  I don’t want to necessarily say he’s "calmer" in this interview, but that’s the only word I can think of right now.

(Yup, the interview is cutting out on me too. But sounds like it’s going to be okay overall.)

  6. I listened to it on the way into work and had the same problem. Most of the time you got the gist of the conversation and so wasn’t a major problem.

Good interview and now makes me want to listen to all my Queen albums again.(oh and to read Freddie & Me of course)

  7. I fixed the file, and uploaded a new version that should be error free.  Sorry for the issue, and enjoy.  If you haven’t listened yet, you can erase yours, and re-download it again.

  8. Excellent Job once agai, Josh.

  9. It was very hard to listen to that without wanting to interrupt every few seconds.

  10. @AlexRobinson, I think that’s why Josh left the few second spaces in the first iTunes file, so that you could interject while you were listening to it. Kind of like your own MST3K but in podcast form.

  11. Is it just me or were there a lot of drop-outs in the sound, almost like when I’m on Skype and the sound cuts out due to low bandwidth.

  12. @IronCladMerc – see the comments above yours.  Also, it was recroded on Skype, as are most of our podcasts, so there are things that can happen beyond our control.  But, it should be fixed now.

  13. I downloaded again and still get gaps.

  14. As per TMack’s suggestion, I will be happy to record a commentary track. Do they do RiffTraxxx for podcasts?

  15. I think I’d really like to hear that.
