Really liked it! Was probably the best one we have seen in awhile. Great show as always.
Conor is like the Who Sounds Old in voice acting Hawk.
I guess he isnt watching Justice League Action, Kevin Conroy has never sounded better.
I will agree there was a stretch there where his voice sounded strained but voice actin isnt always the same game as live action and Kevin Conroy isnt That old.
Man- age and Ifanboys is really getting to be a thing.
Oops, probably should have listened to that spoiler warning. I haven’t had much interest in these animated movies for years but you guys sold me on this one. Ah well, even knowing who the killer is in both the movie and the comic now, I think I’ll still check ’em out.
I love these Animation Brain Trust podcasts. In particular it’s nice to hear from Paul. As a regular subscriber of both iFanboy all through the “Paul Years” and Oh Comics! I do miss hearing Paul on a regular comic book podcast.
Loved the film, loved the podcast. This is one of few areas that DC gets right. I breathe a sigh of relief when I see directed by Sam liu cos you know it will be great quality and this one didn’t let me down. The blimp chase reminded me of the red hood chase scene, which is the pinnacle of action scenes for these movies for me. Long may DC keep putting these out, and long may Conor, Paul and Ryan continue the animated brain trust. Boys: don’t change a thing! (and yes that includes Ryan’s science geek overloads)
I thought the movie was just okay, but then I listened to this podcast and you guys made me appreciate ‘Batman: Gotham By Gaslight’ much more. Thanks for that
