Pick of the Week Podcast

Pick of the Week #553 – The Black Monday Murders #2

Show Notes

We’re live! In person, at least! Conor Kilpatrick, Josh Flanagan, and Ron Richards got together in Los Angeles this week to record the show live together and that hasn’t happened in who knows how long. While apologies must be given for the lower level of quality of this week’s audio, the guys had tons of fun being in the same room together.

  1. Further to the question about outgrowing beloved characters. I believe you can definitely outgrow depictions of certain characters. I can no longer read Hush as I don’t like Jim Lee’s Batman and how his costume has no seams or laces (Paul Popes’s documented pet hate with superhero outfits).

  2. I’m all for Jim Lee leaving Suicide Squad so we can have longer stories. That said, the Captain Boomerang backup by Rob Williams and Ivan Reis was pure joy.
