  1. Yay! Trade talk! Thanks for including this guys.

  2. Yaygenics!

  3. Good show guys! I too really enjoyed The Penguin issue (despite some poor reviews to the contrary), I actually liked it better than Arcane. Nice too to see the trade talk. Stick with Prophet, the Earth Empire is still in full force, and the rebellion is growing. Last issue was actually showed the entire Youngblood team (focusing on Diehard’s 10,000 year life, almost like a prequel or flashback- REALLY GOOD) and it was cool to see Graham and Co’s take on these eXtreme characters. Miss the site, still love the ‘cast. Enjoy the week guys.

  4. I like the Trade Talk and I’m looking forward to the SHIELD podcast.

    Nuts.

  5. Not had a chance to listen to the show yet but I loved the Lex issue. They really should have released this the same week that Forever Evil came out. For me it made how lex was acting in Forever Evil make a bit more sense

  6. Interesting POTW. Mine was definitely Zero #1 by Kot.

    • It was really really good, but unfortunately, I didn’t read it until after we did the show. Amazingly dumb oversight on my part.

    • I was bored by Zero #1. I kept hearing it was supposed to be good, but I wasn’t impressed. I hear enough about Middle Eastern conflict on the news. I read comics to escape the troubles of this world. Now if Zero was about made up countries/cities, I would probably find it more interesting.

  7. can any one recommend a news site for comics.
I don’t like newsaramma is their an official ifanboy referral.

  8. With the gimmick covers, point-numbering, and glut of issues, I decided to skip V-month. But it’s nice to hear there’re a few winners in the bunch.

I’m reading Manhattan Projects in issues, and I thought the “don’t know where it’s going, don’t know what it is” analysis was spot-on. But I think that’s why I’m starting to get less interested in it. Fourteen issues in, I want to at least have an inkling of “what it is.” Haven’t given up on it—I expect Hickman to get around to some big payoffs eventually—just getting a little impatient. I tell myself to focus on the journey and not the destination, but it’s not always so easy.

The chubby kid in Stand By Me says “go screw” as well, if anyone’s interested.

  9. Luthor WAS fun. Thanks for the tip! Would never have picked this book up otherwise.
