Pick of the Week Podcast

Pick of the Week #727 – Sara

Show Notes

Plunging further and further into this new age, Conor Kilpatrick and Josh Flanagan find some comics to discuss and talk about a gem from the recent past, as well as a couple of digital only releases. From there, it’s on to G.I. Joe Corner, with our old pal, Ron Richards. You will learn no science from G.I. Joe, and you will learn no history from Josh, but boy, did he want to try.

  1. Great song this week, guys! One of my all-time favorite bands. Got to see them once in concert. The whining sounds are made by playing a saw. The more you know.

Do you guys have a l helpful link to purchase DayTripper?

    Thanks,
    AKeith04

  2. Which edition of New Gods will be in the Booksplode?

  3. There are so many trades and graphic novels. Many are amazing, many not so. I am really enjoying these Picks where Conor and Josh and … just pick a book they want to read and talk about. When these strange times end, I hope they consider adding it again as a feature of the podcast. BTW, next Wednesday is the 50th Earth Day.

  4. My god the worms of death noise is horrifying.

  5. I’m a bit surprised that Starman wasn’t mentioned as a series since it’s been mentioned so often here, but the entire run is available on DC Universe. I read it incredibly quickly with the 6 omnibuses that are out of print now. I would recommend Star Wars Legacy with two of the three Epic Collections out and the third comes out next month. That was a fantastic series.
