    I have the exact same reaction to Venom currently as Josh. My very first comics were purchased from a spinner rack at a local Rite Aid pharmacy. They too were the McFarlane early 300’s Amazing Spiderman run. Lived them then, re-read them about two years ago and I was not as enamoured with them lol. Now I can’t bring myself to care about anything Venom at all… Funny how similar my comics journey starting point was.

    I hear you guys about not going to physical shops anymore. That’s where I’m at these days. I order online through DCBS and shop Comixology sales and that’s it. A year or so ago, a comic shop opened literally within a five minute walk of my work. I was excited! Until I discovered that the owner was a Tier II sex offender for having owned child pornography.
