Pick of the Week Podcast

Pick of the Week #601 – Astro City #47

Show Notes

It’s a three-way consensus on Pick of the Week, because even the coldest of hearts will be melted by a fictitious dog/human hybrid. There’s another artist who needs to just stop it, and of the greats kind of lets us down. And finally, learn of the evils of cornerfication.

  1. Even as well done as Busiek wrote here, the ‘AND ONE WILL DIE!’ plot device is just so tired.
Killing an important character for pathos and sadness as a way to give a story weight and meaning.
    I’m just done with it.
Again well done or not – I’ve read it- seen it way too many times for a good long time.
    Try something else.
