Captain America Vol 5 #26 $2.99 – About damn time. With the delays this title suffered with Civil War you’d think the issues would be like clockwork after it. Not two months apart.
Criminal #6 $2.99 – I can’t wait for this. Who’s with me?

It is my week, and I appear to be blessed with a small amount of books. However, they’re mostly books I’m very excited to read.
If you’ve got any good suggestions for an indy book coming out this week I can check out, please let me know. I didn’t see anything, but please let me know if I missed something.
Also, if you’re in the mood for a trade, this week has got you covered. Collections of iFanboy favorites Fell and Dr. Strange the Oath are both up there. While, I’m not a huge fan, a lot of people loved Cassanova. And, if you’re a hardcore Marvel freak, that Silver Surfer Anthology is nothing to sneeze at.

HOMELESS CHANNEL TP
The time is: 11:21 AM – almost lunch
I just wanted to go ahead and shamelessly plug “The Homeless Channel” for anyone who bothers to read this. I’ve read the first two issues in singles and issues 3 and 4 were never printed and will only be available in the trade. I’ve had some time to get to know Matt Silady a little bit since he made his ifanboy debut (the Wondercon video) and he’s a great guy who’s passionate about his book. If you’re itching to boost your indy cred or just looking for a good book you should really track this down and pick up a copy.
And yes, like the title says, it is about a 24-network devoted to the homeless. Matt both wrote and drew the story and his photo-referenced art improves even from issue to issue in a style vaguely reminiscent of a young Tony Harris.
Everyone should support another fan who actually found a way to get paid for his passion.
Thanks for putting up with this small rant.
None of the comics on my pull list are coming out this week, which means I’ll probably buy the second and third issues of Fallen Son, along with whatever back issues strike my fancy.

I don’t understand why everyone is bashing on countdown right now. I have enjoyed the book so far. I know everyone is bashing on the fact that Jimmy Olsen knows everyones identity but I read an interview at newsarama (I can’t remember if it was with Dini or the editor) but they were saying that Olsen knowing those indentities will be touched on later. I don’t know if that was true or if they are just covering their tracks. T

I know the book is a pretty small fish in a pretty big pond here and there are a ton of great books coming out every week… but if you are ever interested in taking a chance on something new… give it a try. It’s a complete story meant to be consumed in one big bite. And if your local comic shop doesn’t have it in stock. tell them it’s always available for reorder from AiT.
